My boy is making puppies!

My Rufie xxx

Big part of my life right now, so just had to share...

My darling Rufus got 'studded' in Richmond Park a few weeks back, and matched up to a gorgeous young Patterdale cross, called Rascal.

Rascal being flirtatious

Rufus is nearly three, and we are forever asked when he will have puppies etc etc, so it seemed like perfect timing! It does feel slightly odd, that your pride and joy is suddenly growing up, becoming an adult, making puppies, it's all quite scary really!

Rufus (have to write who it is! Quite hard to tell apart!)

So The Boy gave him a chat. Rufus listened the best he could. I searched google, youtube (Don't. It's gross) for tips and advice.

We arranged to meet up for a trial run in the park. I must admit, it was terribly funny! Lots of missing, yucky stuff and exhausted owners and pets! We decided to try again, for a whole day.

So I went up to my mothers house in Oxford, because there's lots of land, and it was the perfect place for romantic puppy making.

The lovers (Rascal and Rufus)

They did it, twice. All I will say is, I didn't realise dogs really stick together, for more than 5 minutes! They spent the rest of the day being all loving, ear-licking and lying together by the fire. The perfect chemistry for Christmas puppies!

Rascal and Rufus enjoying the hot fire...

Worst thing is now, is I desperately want one. Seeing Rufus with another dog just made my heart melt! Of course, now he's a wreck, his love has gone (with it the puppy-making-action) and he's just in bits.

The Boy has told me I cannot have one, however, I just think, I will not be able to see those puppies at Christmas, and not be able to fall in love with one of them. Question is, boy or girl?!

Will keep you informed/pictured up to the eyeballs with Rufus and Rascal's progress.

Love,

My Birthday Party Banner...

Thought I should share this with you....

I'm dead proud of it!

(Polyvore)

"I'm going to change the world, and this is my plan..."

I saw this statement on a notebook in a lovely little boutique gift shop in Richmond yesterday. I nearly bought it, mainly for inspiration, mainly to write my world-conquering-thoughts within, and mainly because, well, I just love stationary (In fact, I should start up Stationary Anonymous. It's borderline addiction. Paperchase, Muji, and Art shops are my haven for pens and moleskin books. Anyway, this is an entirely different posting opportunity)

Back to the point in hand, when I was growing up, I didn't want to be a Vet, or a Teacher, Nurse, Artist, Popstar or Dancer, oh no. I wanted to change the world. I wasn't sure at this point, how I would actually do it, however my little idea I have been developing over the last 5 years, is aimed to do just that.

Quite cocky, some may say. Not really. My view on changing the world is different from most. I believe everyone can, in their own different way.

My point is, my "idea" aims to help others. Positively stimulating minds, educating, motivating and entertaining. I won't go into too much detail (spoils the fun really) but this is my dream.

So whilst I laughed, and picked up this notebook, with those beautiful words inscribed on the front cover, deep down, I knew, it was a little sign from the cake fairies to give my idea my full attention. Unleash its potential.

Stay tuned.....

Much love,

CGxxx
